Billy Babb

My name is Billy Babb, I’m originally from the Bay Area I played one year collegiately at Diablo Valley College as a starter and one year at Sacramento city college as a reliever during my junior college stint I posted an overall record of 11-6 earned reliever of the year, first team all conference, and a sub 2.50 ERA as well as being a part of an amazing team that qualified for super regionals in 2017. From Sac City I earned a scholarship to A small school named Missouri Baptist University who had been ranked in the top 10 NAIA baseball schools in the country in which I eventually found my self with a better opportunity to play for D2 Sonoma state before the senior season was cut due to Covid.

Currently I am training to play at the professional level along side guys like Sammy long and Lucas Giolito in hopes to continue my career after battling a shoulder injury, while hindering has given me many avenues within this game. While I have been actively studying the game and ways to continuously improve every day, I believe the goal is to be 1% better than you were the day before. Particularly as someone who has played with many teams at all different levels and with different atmospheres/coaching styles I have large experience in heavily competitive baseball ranging from little league, high school and tournament style baseball all the way to the collegiate level with playing in the big-8 which is one of the best junior college conferences in the country in that I have been lucky enough to experience all of it and more in my 18 plus years of playing this game. My overall goal for each person I work with is to be able to hold them accountable for everything they do within the realm of this game as well as respecting every opportunity to get better.

Chloe Kitchens

I have been playing softball since I was about five years old. I grew up playing in West Sacramento little league and began to play travel ball at the age of 8. I played travel ball until I was 17 years old where I continued my softball and education career at Sacramento City College. I played at Sacramento City for two years. I was a utility player which included catcher, third, shortstop, and second. After playing for two years, I decided to end my softball career and focus on my education at Sacramento State University. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Health Science and then going to ultrasound school to pursue a career as a Cardiac Sonographer. After ending my career at Sacramento City, I could not get away from the game that I love and decided to become a coach. I coach Foothill Gold 18U and while coaching them I work with the catchers, infield, outfield, and hitting. My coaching experience with this team made me realize I want to expand and coach more young athletes. I want to be able to work with young athletes to not only build them physically but mentally as well. I want to be that coach that they are comfortable with asking any questions within sports, school, and any life experiences. I am not only here as a coach but I am here as a retired athlete to give my knowledge to these young athletes to help them become better individuals as well as future college athletes.

Daniel began his first two seasons at Orange Coast College where he came in as a catcher, but was transitioned to the outfield. 1 of two freshman’s to start everyday with the pirates where he posted a .282 avg. with 3 homers and 17 RBI’s. After his 2 seasons with Orange Coast he transferred to D2 Sonoma State. Found himself sharing time between catching and DH for his 2018 season, battling an injury throughout the season.

Daniel’s Sr. season was played at Hope International University. One of the top NAIA programs in the state. Lead his team to win the GSAC Tournament Championship and fell short in the NAIA World Series. He posted a .301 avg. with 8 homers and 35 RBIs.

Greg Vaughn Jr.

A two sport athlete at Sacramento’s Jesuit High School, Greg was an outfielder at Folsom Lake College from Fall 2015 through Spring 2017. In his two seasons he was a .300 plus average hitter with 25 career stolen bases, and was selected All-Conference each year. His 2016 squad was FLC’s first CCCAA Baseball Regional playoff qualifier.

He then transferred to Long Island University Brooklyn; for his junior season 2018. Greg helped lead the Blackbirds to its first Northeast Conference championship since 2002 and was chosen NEC tournament MVP. That team was also LIU’s first in 60 years to qualify for the NCAA College World Series Regional tournament. Greg finished that season with 17 stolen bases good for 3rd in the NEC.
