PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

Device Information

Additionally, as you browse our website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the website, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

– “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the website.

Personally identifiable information

DSA may collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. 

The reason(s) we collect information about children under the age of 13 is: 

  1. to help with their player development by using a rating scale to analyze player skill sets. 
  2. by allowing videos that are uploaded to be analyzed and evaluated by their selected instructors.
  3. to allow players to see where they are ranked and rated among their peers within the HitTrax application.
  4. to allow parents to track their player(s) growth and performance based on time spent with instructors.
  5. to allow players to create a portfolio of recent and past performance.
  6.  to allow collaboration between instructors, coaches, parents, players, and scouts. 

We provide information about our personal data practices for children on our home page and wherever we knowingly collect personal data from children on our website.. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If you are a parent and you have questions regarding our data collection practices, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this Agreement. 

Order Information

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the website, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the website, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our website’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the website, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Membership Cancellation/Refund Policy 

Customers may cancel a membership at any time. Once user cancels their membership there will be “No refunds”. The cancellation will be effective at the end of current billing cycle. A 12 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service. Failure to notify us will result in $15 no-show fee or visit deduction from your membership.

Product Refund/Return Policy

All sales of equipment, bats, gloves, hats, clothing, etc. are Final. Bats come with a manufacturer’s warranty, any return must be handled directly in accordance with the manufacturer’s policy. Customers are responsible to order correct clothing and hat sizes and colors according to DSA online product offerings. 

CHANGES

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
